Sending Image Files By Mail

It is possible to open a new mail creation screen with an attached image with one click, through

the use of one of the mail sending functions of the ImageBrowser. This is very convenient as

it is no longer necessary to look for the file name of the image to send.

The following types of mail sending functions are available from ImageBrowser.

• Select a single image or moving image file from the displayed list, and send the file as an

attachment. (O’ next page)

• Compress a moving image file, attach it to an executable player, and send the executable as

an attachment. (“Movie Messenger” O’ page 47)

When using Outlook Express or Outlook 97/98

When a binary file is attached in Outlook Express or Outlook 97/98, the file may be unable

to be read correctly depending on the software used on the receiving side. In such cases, in

the settings for sending mail in Outlook Express or Outlook 97/98, select text style for the

sending style, in addition, set MIME (encoding method) for the binary form for attach

ments. For details on the settings, read the help file or manual of Outlook Express, Outlook

97/98 or of the application you are using.
