Connect the handset cord to the unit and
connect to the handset.

Connecting the telephone line cord(s)
►When connecting telephone line cords to the fax machine, use the included telephone line cords for reliable
data communications and compliance with FCC rules.
►When connecting 4-wire telephone line cord, connect the ferrite core side to the fax machine.
► For additional equipment protection, we recommend the use of a surge protector. See note on page 27 for
more information.
To connect a two-line telephone jack (RJ14C)
A. Connect the 4-wire telephone line cord
with GREEN plugs to L1/L2 jack on the
unit.
B. Connect to a two-line telephone jack
{RJ14C).
