9. Locate the Fuel Selector Switch on the front

of the unit behind the panel door (Figure 4-

3).

10. Set the

ON/OFF switch on the unit control

panel to the

ON position.

11. Access the Control Panel Configuration

Menu and change the Max Valve Position to

75%. (Refer to Chapter 3, para. 3.3 for

instructions on changing menu options).

12. Change the valve position to 29% using the

▲ arrow key. The unit should begin its start

sequence and fire.

13. Next, increase the valve position to 75%.

Verify that the gas pressure downstream of

the propane SSOV is 2.0” W.C. for both FM

and IRI gas trains. If gas pressure

adjustment is required, remove the brass

hex head cap on the propane SSOV (Figure

4-6). Make gas regulator adjustments using

a flat-tip screwdriver to obtain 2.0” W.C.

14. With the valve position at 75%, insert the

combustion analyzer probe into the flue

probe opening and allow enough time for the

combustion analyzer to settle.

15. Compare the measured oxygen % level to

the range shown below. Also, ensure that

the carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrogen

oxide (NOx) readings do not exceed the

values shown.

16. If the oxygen level is not within the specified

range, adjust the level using the up (▲) and

down (▼) arrow keys on the VFD. Using the

up (▲) arrow key will increase oxygen level

and the down (▼) arrow key will decrease

the oxygen level.

17. Once the oxygen level is within the specified

range at 75%, lower the valve position to

60%.

NOTE

The remaining combustion calibration

steps are performed using the

Combustion Cal Menu included in the C-

More Control System. The combustion

calibration control functions will be used

to adjust the oxygen level (%) at valve

positions of 60%, 45%, 30% and 18% as

described in the following steps. These

steps assume that the inlet air

temperature is within the range of 50°F to

100°F.

18. Press the

MENU Key on the front panel of

the C-MORE and access the Setup menu.

Enter password 6817 and then press the

ENTER key.

19. Press the

MENU Key on the front panel of

the C-MORE until Combustion Cal Menu

appears on the C-More display.

20. Press the ▲ arrow key until SET Valve

Position appears on the C-MORE display.

21. Press the

CHANGE key. SET Valve Position

will begin to flash.

22. Press the ▲ arrow key until the SET Valve

Position reads 60%. Press the

ENTER key.

23. Next, press the

down (▼) arrow key until

CAL Voltage 60% is displayed.

24. Press the

CHANGE key and observe that

CAL Voltage 60% is flashing.

25. The oxygen level at the 60% valve position

should be as shown below. Also, ensure that

the carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrogen

oxide (NOx) readings do not exceed the

values shown.
