The Front/Side of Your TV

Side Input Jacks

The T\' has side input jacks for convenience in c:onnecting a c:amcorder, digital c:amera, or video
game system. Please note the illustration below is just an example of how these jacTs might
appear.

Notes:

When you plug in headphones, the

interna! speakers are muted. Use the VOL

up or down button to control the volume.

W%en connecting a device that uses a mono cable, such as some camcorders, use the

IJMONO input jack to get sound from both speakers.

Biinks Light biinks 5 times, pauses, and biinks again 5 times;

Lamp is trying to turn on. if the TV doesn't turn on
after 5 minutes and then the iight blinks steadiiy for
one minute, one of the foiiowing options is possibie:

Lamp door may be open. Face the back of the TV.
Locate the door at the bottom of the TV and ciose it.

Turn off the TV and turn back on. The iamp shouid
turn on.

Lamp may be dead. You can repiace the iamp

yourself. Go to page 56 for lamp replacement

access to the menus. Ihe Front Button Block feature disables all front panel

If you cannot locate your remote, you can use the front panel of your TV to operate many of the T \ ' ■ features.

MENU/OK

Brings up the Main menu. When the menti system is displayed, [rres.sing MENII/OK selects highlighted items.

Scans down through the channel list. In the menu system, it moves the highlight down and adjtists menu controls.

CH-*- Scans up through the diannel list, In the menu sy.stem, it moves the highlight up and adju.sts menu controls,

VOL-i DecTea.ses the volume. In the menu .system, it moves the highlight left to items and adjusts menu controls.

► Increa.ses the volume. In the menu .system, it moves the highlight right to items and adju.sts menu coirtrols.

(Power Ixitton and indicator) Turns the TV on and off. Tire indicator lights when W is on. Your HDW’s lamp lias a

cool-down period when tlie TV' is turned off, and a warm up period wlien tlie TV is turned on. if you try to turn tlie TY^ on
during a cool-down, you will hear audio and then the picture will he displayed after a few moments. This could take up to
