Contrast Enhance Makes the picture appear brighter by deepening the black pans of
tlie picture. This also lielps to maintain, a more consistent black level from one sc:ene to the
next, The ojatiotis are On and Off.
Film 3:2 Pulkloum Automatically detects video sources that were originally recorded on
film and converted to a different format. Filrn 3--2 Pulkioivn modifies the converted signal
so it looks as close as jaossible to the original, a [trocess called reverse 3:2 [xilldown. Film
3:2 Pulldoivn is applied to all inputs. (Options are:
• Advanced The default and reeommended setting, Turns Film 3:2 PiiUclown on
when needed.

Off Use this setting if you think the reverse 3:2 pulldown is causing distortions in
your pitture,
Reset Picture Menu button re.sets all Picture Menu controls to their original factoiy
settings (excejat Pemonal Picture Preset, Horizontal and Venical Position, and Smoothing
Adjust) .for the currently tuned input (.see on-screen text). To reset the .settings, you must;
1. Tune to the injaut you would like to re.set.
2. Press MF.NT.i to access the Main Menu.
3. F.rom the Advanced Settitigs menu, select .Reset Controls, and then se\ect Reset to re.set
the settings for the currently titned input.

Screen Adjust Menu
The Screen .Adjust menu allows you to position an.d adjust the pictirre on-screen.
The options are;
Horizontal Position Allows you to adju.st the picture left and right. Press
the right arrow button to move the slider right and move the picture to
the right. Press the left arrow button to move the slider left and move the
picture to the left.
Vertical Position Allows you to adjust the picture up and clown. Press
the right arrow button to move the slidei: right and miave the jaicture up,
Press the left arrow button to move the slider left and move the picture
down,
Smoothing Adjust Allows you to adjust the lines of the picture so they
appear smocath. Press the left/right arrow buttcans to adju.st. lAe the menu as
your “test pattern” when adjusting .smoothness.
Auto Adjust If a device is connected to the HDMl inputs, the Auto Adjust
men 1,1 caption optimizes the can-screen position of the videca, If your input
has Auto Adjust, ju.st choose Tc«.
