Psiing the TW's Meimi System
Background Opacity
allows you to change the see-through background optloirs: Solid.
Transparent. Transhicent. and Flashing.
Caption Opacity
allows you to change the see-through cajation optiotis: Solid. Transparent,
Translucent, and Flashing.
Time Menu
The Time menu lets you set up time-related featttres. Time menu consists of
Sleep Timer, Wake-Up Timer, and Time of Day.
Sleep Timer
A one-time event that is used to set the lA' to turn off at a
specific time.
Wake-Up Timer
Used to turn the TV on and off at a specific time every
day of the week and tune tti a specific channel ttr video input.
Time of Day
Enalales you to enter the correct time manually. If you don’t
enter the time, it is acciuired from the last tuned digital channel. Make sure
you check the time acquired is correct.
Note:
If you enter the time rnantially, you must remember to set your
IVs Time tvhen the time changes to Daylight Saving Time. Sleep 'fimer
Wake-l.ip Timer ivill not function as you e.xpect if you forget to
change the TV’s time.
Quick Startup
The Quick Startup menu is a power-saving feature in your T\c If you cltoose
Enable, it will allow yoti to turn on yotir lA faster than when disabled.
Assisted Setup
The Assisted Setup menus were c:overed in Chapter f. Go to page 15 for more
inf( irmation.
Menu Preferences
Menu Language
Change to one of three languages: English, Spanish or
French. The menu language can also be selected when using the Assisted
Setup menu.
Color Menu
Select from among four colors (Sky Blue, Forest Green. Rasp
berry, and Plum) to change the color of th.e menu system and laanner.
Translucency
You can change the translucency (see-through) level of the
menu screens. Adjust the slider by using the left and right arrow buttons.
