Type 3 Message Class

The

SMARTONE will use the Type 3 message class for the following message

types:

Diagnostic Message – Subtype 21.

Replace Battery Message – Subtype 22.

Contact Service Provider Message – Subtype 23.

• Accumulate / Count Message – Subtype 24. Subtypes 0 – 3 are used by

earlier tracker products.

Diagnostic Message

The Diagnostic Message includes battery status, GPS average acquisition time,

GPS fails and number of transmissions since the last Diagnostic Message.

The format and fields of the

SMARTONE Diagnostic Message is shown in

table 8 below.
