Contents of Bumper Replacement Kit
The Mesa Rugged Notepad bumper
replacement kit includes the following items:
„
Standard Mesa: One bumper for the
top and one bumper for the bottom
(interchangeable)
„
Geo Mesa: One extended antenna
bumper for the top and one bumper for
the bottom,
„
Eight screws
„
Screwdriver
„
Instruction sheet
Replacement Instructions
1. Suspend or power off the Mesa.
2. If a hand strap is attached to the Mesa,
remove it.
3. Remove the 8 screws (2 on each corner
as shown) that attach the top and
bottom bumpers to the Mesa.
4. Carefully remove the bumpers.
Note: If you have a Geo model (shown
in above graphic), use caution while
removing and installing the top
extended antenna bumper to avoid
damaging the antenna assembly.
5. Place the new bumpers into position,
making sure the screw holes line up on
the sides.
6. Insert and screw in 8 screws (2 on each
corner as shown in step 3) to attach the
new top and bottom bumpers to the
Mesa.
7. Reattach the hand strap in the desired
location.
