This requires the external gauge head to be defined as reference

(VACUU•BUS address ”Ref. 1”) and no gauge head VSK 1 to be con-

nected.

The displayed pressure value is: (”pressure value of Ref. 1” minus

”pressure value of Sensor”) Torr (mbar).

In case of negative differential pressures the pressure reading flashes.

In case a connected VSK 3000 gauge head is defined as reference

(i.e., ”Ref. 1”), the ”Vac control function” automatically controls to the

differential pressure.

Reconfiguring the gauge head

Reconfiguring the VACUU•BUS address of a gauge head:

1. Switch the CVC 3000 vacuum controller off.

2. Preferably connect only the gauge head to be reconfigured to the CVC

3000.

3. Keep ”VENT” key pressed and switch the CVC 3000 on (”ON/OFF”

key).

4. Select the menu item ”Vacuubus” by turning and pressing the selec-

tion knob.

5. The first component detected by the VACUU•BUS is displayed (e.g.,

VSK 1). If necessary, select the gauge head to be reconfigured by

turning and pressing the selection knob.

6. Keep ”MODE” key pressed and press selection knob additionally. The

inverse display of the component is replaced by a frame.

7. Turn the selection knob until the address, to which you want to recon-

figure the gauge head (e.g., VSK 2 or Ref.1), is displayed.

8. Press the selection knob. If the configuration was successful, the

menu is quit, the message ”Succeed” is displayed, and the CVC 3000

restarts.

A configuration of more than one gauge head to the same VACUU•BUS

address will result in error conditions at the CVC 3000 and must therefore

be avoided!

Do not configure a VSK 3000 as VSP 3000.

Do not configure a VSP 3000 as VSK 3000.
