SELECTING A PATTERN

GROUP

Before moving pattern group selector, make
sure needle is above fabric.

When you rotate the pattern group selector,
one of 8 different groups of stitch pattern is
available to you.

Slide stitch width selector to

0

,

then rotate the

pattern group selector as required, until the
number of the desired group of two stitches is
positioned under the • symbol above the
selector.

ADJUSTING WIDTH OF THE DESIGN

Before moving stitch width selector, always
raise needle above fabric.

To produce a stitch pattern, the stitch width

selector must be moved from

0

toward the

right. The further you move the selector lever
toward the right, the wider your stitch will be.

ADJUSTING STITCH PLACEMENT

Before moving needle position selector, make
sure needle is above fabric.

All stitch patterns can be sewn in either left

^ , centre , or right w , needle position.

Selector setting centre u is used most often.

A !m left or M right setting is used to place

narrow stitch patterns to the left or right of the

centre in decorative work.
