Lower the buttonhole lever and gently push it toward the back.

♦ Place the fabric between the foot and the underplate, aligning the

starting mark on the foot with the mark on the fabric.

♦ Lightly hold the threads and begin to sew.

©♦When the buttonhole is finished, stop sewing.
