3 STEP ZIGZAG STITCH

This stitch is very suitable for darning tears. It can also

be

used

for

reinforcing

stretch

materials

and

overcasting seam allowances.

With a narrow strip of fabric directly under the line

of gathering, stitch over the gathers. The design will

be a series of small diamonds.
When smocking a garment, the stitching should be

done before the piece is sewn into the garment.

Note;

Use a BLUE TIPPED needle on knift fabric.

The blue tipped needle prevents skipped
