Virtual Switch Input Mappings

Opens the Virtual Switch Input Mappings window where you can add, edit, delete, auto map, or print virtual switch input
mappings. This feature allows you to view the mapped cameras using the VIGIL Client Virtual Switch control pad or a
KBD300 by entering the monitor number and virtual switch input number.


Add / Edit

Opens the Edit Virtual Switch Input Mapping window
where you can add/edit a virtual switch input mapping by
specifying the input number, server name, and camera
number.

Delete

Deletes the selected destination.

Auto Map

Automatically maps virtual switch inputs for all detected servers.

Note: If you click Auto Map when there are existing virtual switch input mappings, you will be
prompted if you would like to overwrite the mappings. Click Yes to overwrite the existing mappings,
or click No to add new mappings to existing ones.

Print

Prints the virtual switch input mappings to the default printer.


Digital Virtual Switch Setup

To setup the digital virtual switch feature:

1. Expand your local desktop to another monitor in the Window Display Properties.
2. Open VIGIL Client and go to the Settings window.
3. Go to the Virtual Switch tab and select Digital as the type
4. Any monitors available for the virtual switch are enabled by checking the Enabled box under the

monitor number. If setting up the digital virtual switch, Monitor 1 here is monitor #2 in the Windows
Display Properties, Monitor 2 is #3 in the Windows Display Properties, and so on.

5. Click the Virtual Switch Input Mappings button and add cameras that will be accessible to the virtual

switch > click OK.

6. Click OK to the main settings form.
