SELECT NEXT Pressing the function button corresponding to SELECT NEXT scrolls forward
through each of the parameters that are available for the highlighted option.
DEFAULT VALUES Sets the ADSL AUTO TEST parameters to their factory defaults.
ADSL SETUP Allows the user to setup the ADSL Auto Test
VF SETUP Allows the user to setup the VF Auto Test.
MAIN MENU Select the function button corresponding to MAIN MENU to return to the Main
Menu.
8.11.1.3 VF Auto Test Setup
From the Auto Test Setup screen, pressing the F1 button will activate the VF Auto POTS Setup screen, or
F2 to activate the VF Auto No POTS . These VF Auto Test setup screens allow you to configure the
PASS/FAIL criteria for the VF Auto Tests.
NOTE: The CableSHARK will work with milliwatt sources providing a tone or a tone + silence. The
CableSHARK’s VF Auto-test will not test to a quiet termination source. For non-working pairs, set
the DIAL TYPE to NON-WORKING PAIR.
