The Ringer Detection Test Setup menu has the following configuration option.
TEST TYPE: Fixed at Ringer Detection
14.2 Running a Ringer Detection Test
Use caution when connecting the test set, as telephone cables may have dangerous A.C. or D.C.
voltages on them.
Press the RUN / STOP button on the front of the CableSHARK to initiate the Ringer Detection test. Figure
14.2A shows an example of the results obtained from a Ringer Detection Test.
