To install a new option, a special software key needs to be input by pressing the INSTALL NEW KEY button.
An EDIT box will appear in which the user will need to input the key using the alphanumeric keypad. Press
the CableSHARK alphanumeric keys to enter the Software KEY. Use the right and / or left arrow keys to
enter the next character or edit the previous character respectively. Press ENTER when the key is fully
entered. An incorrectly entered key will display an error message. To view what tests and options are
available on your unit, press the VIEW DETAIL button.
INIT MODEM The CableSHARK attempts to initialize the attached modem.
To exit from the OPTIONS menu, press the PREVIOUS MENU button to go back to the SYSTEM SETUP or
press the MAIN MENU button to return to the Main Menu.
