8 Bit Pattern Analysis and the
Gearbox
The following diagram illustrates the main steps and possibilities in bit
pattern analysis using the PSO-200 Optical Modulation Analyzer. With
compatible pattern modes, the powerful Gearbox tool allows you to define
precisely how your data stream is sent to the modulator and to obtain
detailed error rates.
