Code Identifiers
A code identifier is a data string, giving information to the host system
concerning the barcode type that has been read After scanning the
"Enable Default Code Identifiers" code, the scanner is configured to
transmit data according to the following format:

NOTE
The UPCE format will be changed. The scanner will
transmit UPCE codes with leading 0 and without check
digit.
To return to the default format without code identifiers read the "Disable
Code Identifiers" code.
