Monitor and Control (M&C)
The M&C monitors the switch configuration, as well as 1:1 switch and modem faults and
status. 1:1 switch configuration parameters are stored in battery-backed RAM to provide
total recovery after a power-down. The 1:1 switch gathers status and provides extensive
fault monitoring. A local front panel interface and a remote communications interface
provide user access to all 1:1 switch functions.
