The Fronius String Control 250/25 has a shutdown function that interrupts
the energy supply in the Solar Net:
-

in the event of over-current, e.g., in case of a short circuit

-

in the event of under-voltage

The over-current and under-voltage shutdown function does not depend
on the direction of the current flow.
If the String Control 250/25 measures a current flow > 3 A or a voltage < 7
V while supplying Solar Net components, the energy supply in the Solar
Net is interrupted.

The energy supply can be restored automatically or manually.

Jumper positions:

A

Automatic restoration of the
energy supply
(factory setting)

M Manual restoration of the ener-

gy supply

The jumper (1) must be set to position A for automatic restoration of the
energy supply.

WARNING! An electrical shock can be fatal. Danger from DC
voltage from solar modules.
-

Make sure that the input and output sides in front of the
device are not charged before making any connections or
settings.

-

Any and all connections and settings should only be carried
out by qualified electricians.

-

Follow the safety rules in these operating instructions.
