Instructions for Use
Product description
Telio Activator is a methyl methacrylate (MMA)-based liquid for
extra-oral use, which is applied to activate the surfaces of
restorations made of Telio CS C&B, Telio CAD and Telio Lab that
are subsequently adjusted, relined or customized.
Composition
Methyl methacrylate (86-87 %), dimethacrylate and triethylene
glycol dimethacrylate (13%) and catalyst (<1 %).
Indications
Extraoral activation of the surfaces of restorations made of
– Telio CS C&B
– Telio CAD
– Telio Lab
Contraindication
– Direct application in the oral cavity
Important processing notes
The following processing errors should be avoided in order to
ensure successful results with Telio Activator:
– Insufficient surface conditioning and/or surface cleaning
– Reaction time too short
– Material applied too sparingly
– Combination with materials that are not approved and/or
recommended
Side effects
In individual cases allergic reactions to MMA materials have
been reported. In rare cases, components of Telio Activator may
lead to sensitization. Telio Activator should not be used in such
cases.
Application in the dental practice
• Relining of Telio CAD / Telio Lab restorations with Telio
CS C&B
Roughen the area to be relined using coarse diamonds or
sandblast (Al
2
O
3
, 100 µm, 1–2 bar/15–29 psi). Thoroughly
rinse with water and dry with oil-free compressed air. Then
