Careful preparation of the bonding surface is a prerequisite for an optimum adhesive cementation of the Ti base and
the pressed object. The following paragraphs outline the required procedures. The procedure is the same for hybrid
abutments and hybrid abutment crowns.

Pre-treatment of the Ti base

To prepare the Ti base for cementation with the meso-structure, please observe the following procedure:
– Observe processing instructions of the manufacturer of the Ti base.
– Clean the Ti base in an ultrasonic cleaner and blow dry or use a steam cleaner.
– Screw Ti base onto a model analog.
