Using the System

For All Blacked-Out Programs

- If you set a timer for a program or event

that is blacked out in your area, when this timer operates the receiver may
display only an error or password-entry screen. If you have set an

Ext Event

Timer

, the device will record this screen and not the blacked-out event.

Event Timer Performance when the Receiver is Off

If the receiver is OFF (in standby mode) at the time an Auto-Tune or DVR

Event Timer is scheduled to operate, then the receiver will turn itself ON.
