Figure 8 shows the laser system block diagram, which consists of the Jewel Laser, a personal
computer, and a power supply.

JEWEL POWER ADAPTER
The power adapter for the Jewel Laser is a typical laptop style power adapter. It accepts inputs of
100-240 VAC and 50-60 Hz, and outputs 36 VDC, 1.6A (See Figure 9 ).
