3. Connect the iPod or iPhone with a Lightning connector.

Connecting an iPod or iPhone with a 30-pin Dock

connector

1. Push the iPod dock in the center where it says PUSH OPEN

to unlock the iPod dock.

2. Pull the iPod dock out until you can use the Lightning

connector and it locks.

3. Pull the unlocking lever to unlock the iPod dock, and then

pull the dock forward to the CLICK STOP position.

4. Insert a dock adapter that is suitable for your iPod or

iPhone with a 30-pin Dock connector into the 30-pin Dock

connector section, and then connect that iPod or iPhone.

NOTE

When connecting an iPod or iPhone with a 30-pin Dock

connector always insert a dock adapter suitable for your

iPod or iPhone into the connector area. Dock adapters

are not included with this product. Use the dock adapter

included with your iPod or iPhone or a commercially-

available Apple Universal Dock Adapter made by Apple Inc.

CAUTION

Do not move the iPod dock left, right, up or down when it is

pulled out.

Do not place anything other than an iPod or iPhone on the

iPod dock when it is pulled out.

Closing the iPod dock

After removing the iPod or iPhone, while pulling the unlocking

lever on top of the iPod dock, push the front of the dock where

it says PUSH OPEN.

CAUTION

When closing the iPod dock, always pull the unlocking lever

on the top of the iPod dock to unlock it when pressing PUSH

OPEN on the front of the dock.
