NAMES & FUNCTIONS OF PARTS

໋ CHECK key

This key is used for checking times preset to cue point
and memo points.

When the memo mode is OFF, cue points can be
checked. When the memo mode is ON, memo points
(A and B) can be checked. (→ page 19 “Confirming the
Time of Memo Points”) (→ page 22 “Confirming the Time
of Cue Points”)

Pressing the CLR key while a point is displayed clears
that point.

໌ MEMO key

Switches the memo mode ON/OFF. (→ page 19
“Functions Using Memo (A, B) Points”)

ໍ A, B keys

By setting any two points as points A and B, you can
perform playback between two points, automatically stop
at point B, or perform rehearsal playback at points A and
B. (→ page 19 “Functions Using Memo (A, B) Points”)

໎ PLAY MODE key

This key functions in the same way as the PLAY MODE
key on the CD-601MKII. Select the playback mode from
regular playback (playback of all tunes), single playback,
and program playback.

The current playback mode is displayed in the playback
mode display area of the display window.

໏ REPEAT key

Turns the repeat functions ON/OFF. (→ page 18 “Repeat
Function”)

໐ PITCH CONTROL, +, - keys

The PITCH CONTROL key functions in the same way as
the PITCH key on the CD-601MKII. Switches the pitch
control function ON/OFF. When this function is set to ON,
PITCH” and the setting value (%) are lit in the display
window.

Use the +/- key to set the pitch control value within the
±12.5% range. (→ page 17 “Pitch Control Function”)

໑ RCL key

This key is used to recall cue points.

໒ SET key

This key is used to set memo points or cue points, and
save disc information. (→ page 19 “Setting Memo Points”)
(→ page 21 “Setting Cue Points”) (→ page 23 “Saving Disc
Information”)

໓ AUTO READY key

This key functions in the same way as the AUTO RDY
key on the CD-601MKII. Switches the auto ready
function (for automatically standing by at the start of
the next track after a track has been played) ON/OFF.
When this function is ON, “A.READY” is lit in the display
window. (→ page 17 “Auto Ready Function”)
