3D camera board
NOTE: The 3D camera board spare part kit does not include the 3D camera board cable. The 3D camera
board cable is available using spare part number 830336-001.

3D camera board with foil (includes double-sided adhesive) 836232-001
Before removing the 3D camera board, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the slate. If you are unsure whether the slate is off or in Hibernation, turn the slate on, and then
shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the slate by unplugging the power cord from the slate.
3. Disconnect all external devices from the slate.
4. Remove the display panel assembly (see Display panel assembly on page 20 ), and then remove
the following components:
a. Right microphone (see Microphone on page 31 )
b. Front-facing webcam (see Front-facing webcam on page 32 )
c. Rear-facing webcam (see Rear-facing webcam on page 33 )
Remove the 3D camera board:
1. Disconnect the 3D camera board cable (1) from the system board.
2. Detach the 3D camera board foil (2) from the back cover. (The 3D camera board foil is attached to
the back cover with double-sided adhesive.)
