The following settings (EXT) are made at the TNC:
MP5020 = 169 8 data bits (+1)
Transfer stop by RTS not active (+0)
Transfer stop by DC3 active (+8)
Character parity even (+0)
Character parity desired (+32)
1 stop bit (+128)
In the TNC, the EXT operating mode must still be assigned to the RS-232 interface and the baud rate
set to 9600 (see the TNC 306 User's Manual).
