Interval HR:
The INTERVAL HR program is designed to vary your Heart Rate from 60% - 80% of your calculated

maximum in one (1) minute intervals. During program setup you will be prompted to enter your age

to calculate your theoretical maximum heart rate and then the number of intervals you would like to

perform (4 to 16 4-minute intervals). The message display will then display the workout with a 6-minute

warm-up and a 3-minute cool down. During the workout the peak interval value can be adjusted

between 80 BPM and the calculated Max HR (220bpm-age) using the +/- Keys.

Hill HR:
The goal of the HILL HR program is to have the users HR at the indicated target HR level by the end of the

interval time. The target HR will fluctuate between 60% - 80% of your calculated maximum in variable in-

tervals depending on the selected total workout time (20 - 99 minutes). The current interval column will

flash for reference. During program setup you will be asked to enter your age to calculate your theoreti-

cal maximum heart rate and your desired workout length. During the workout the peak interval value

can be adjusted between 80 BPM and the calculated Max HR (220bpm-age) using the +/- Keys.
