Chapter 3 Using the TV

Press the button to turn the TV on.

Press the MENU button on the remote control to display the Main menu, and use the
◄► buttons to select PARENTAL.

Use the ▲▼buttons to highlight an individual PARENTAL option, use the ◄►
buttons changes the setting, and press the MENU button to exit the menu.

The PARENTAL menu includes the following options:
Lock Parenal Control Use the Program Countrol function, must enter a four-digit password.
The factory password is 0000.
V-CHIP Press the OK button to enter the V-Chip menu.

The available menu items are dependent on the input source being
selected.All illustration is for reference only. If AV, PC,YPBPR,HDMI,TV
source’s menu items are not available, they will be shown in gray.
 US V-Chip :
 Press▲▼ button on the remote control to select US V-Chip, then
press OK button to enter. The US V-Chip Rating has 2 rating
methods: movie rating and TV rating.
 Press OK button to enter the Movie rating menu. Press▲▼ button
to select the rating you want and press OK button repeatedly to
select block( ) or unblock( ).
The Movie ratings includes the following options:
RATING DESCRIPTION
G General Audiences. Movie is appropriate for all ages
PG Parental Guidance Suggested. May contain material
not suited for younger viewers
PG-13 Contains content that may not be appropriate for
viewers under the age of 13
