You are now ready to use your stamp.

● Stamping precautions
• For information about the types of paper that can be used with the stamp, refer to

“Supported paper types” (page 12).

• Stamping works best on smoother surfaces. You may not be satisfi ed with the

results if you stamp a surface that is uneven or rough.

• Stamping works best on paper that is not glossy and takes ink easily. Some

materials may not accept stamped images well.

• For better stamping results, place paper on a fi rm surfaces that gives slightly, such

as a rubber sheet, thin magazine, notebook, etc.

Attach the protective cap.

Attach the cap whenever storing the stamp.

• If the stamp starts to dry out and the stamped image becomes dim, perform the

procedure under “Ink the stamp” (page 35) to re-ink it.
