The LCD monitor can display the shooting settings screen, menu
screen, captured images, etc.
 When you turn on the power, the
shooting settings will be displayed.
 When you press the shutter button
halfway, the display will turn off.
And when you let go of the shutter
button, the display will turn on.
 You can also turn off the display by
pressing the <B> button. Press
the button again to turn on the
display.

Shooting Function Settings
 Appears when you press the
<M> button. Press the
button again to return to the
shooting settings screen.  Appears when you press the
<x> button. Press the button
again to return to the shooting
settings screen.
Menu Functions Captured Image
 You can set [52: LCD off/on btn] so that the shooting settings display
does not keep turning off and on (p.197).
 Even when the menu screen or captured image is displayed, pressing
the shutter button will enable you to shoot immediately.
