Connecting the Remote Controller to a Camera
The remote controller can be connected to compatible cameras using the REMOTE A or
REMOTE B terminal. The terminal used will be determined by the type of REMOTE
terminal on the camera used and the intended use. For details, refer to the most up-to-
date version of the camera’s Instruction Manual (PDF file).
Using the REMOTE A Terminal
Connect the remote controller to a compatible camera using the supplied remote cable

1 Turn off the camera.
2 Remote controller: Slide the terminal selection switch to the REMOTE A
position.
3 Remote controller: Connect the

3.5 mm end (straight plug) of the supplied
remote cable to the REMOTE A terminal and pass the cable through the cable
clamps to secure it.
4 Camera: Connect the

2.5 mm end (L-shaped plug) of the cable to the
camera’s REMOTE (or REMOTE A) terminal.
