Administering the Modem
For the 3820 or 3920 plus modem to work properly with the voice system, you
must administer the voice system to recognize the modem port.
To administer the voice system to recognize the modem:
1 At the Console Login: prompt, enter root
The system prompts you for a password.
2 Enter your root password.
The system displays the system prompt # .
3 Enter cvis_menu
4 Select
> Install Modem/Terminal Software
> Modem/Terminal Administration
> UNIX Management
