Set Commands

Set Logout Command

The

set logout

command is used to set the number of minutes until the system

automatically disconnects an idle session.

The syntax for this command is:

set logout <timeout>

Examples:

To set the number of minutes until the system disconnects an idle session
automatically:

Console>(enable) set timeout 20

Sessions will be automatically logged out after 20 minutes of

idle time.

Console>(enable)

To disable the automatic disconnection of idle sessions:

Console>(enable) set timeout 0

Sessions will not be automatically logged out.

Console>(enable)

Set Port Mirror Command

Use the

set port mirror

command to define a port mirroring source-

destination pair in the module. the syntax for this command is:

set port mirror source-port

mod_num/port_num

mirror-port

mod_num/port_num

sampling {always | disable } [direction both]

<timeout>

Number of minutes (0 to 10,000) until the system
automatically disconnects an idle session. Setting the value to 0
disables the automatic disconnection of idle sessions

Default = 20

mod_num

Number of the source or destination module.

port_num

Number of the source or destination port.

always

keyword to activate this copy port entry.

disable

keyword to pass this copy port entry to the "not ready" state.

both

keyword to copy both incoming and outgoing traffic.
