Cajun P120 User’s Guide

With the

set

command, the system will wait for you to either press Enter to keep

the current value for the parameter, or enter a new value for the parameter.

The next parameter in the group will display and it will wait for your action. It
continues through every parameter in the group one-by-one.

Note: It is recommended to use the

list

subcommand until you are very familiar

with the CLI parameters.

Use the

list

subcommand in this format:

<command> <group> list

The following example allows you to set parameters in the IP group one-by-one:

CajunP120-priv# set ip list

The following example will display all the current parameter settings one-by-one:

CajunP120-priv#

show all list

Index_value Subcommand <Index_value>

When an index value is used on the command line, enter the desired port number
to be configured.

To configure a specific port with several parameter values, enter commands in the
format:

<command> <group> <index_value>

The following example allows you to configure parameters in the P120 group for
port 4:

CajunP120-priv# set P120 4 list

The parameters display one-by-one.

Depending upon the command, you may sometimes use

all

for the index value.

Repetitive Command Mode [r]

When the repetitive mode command is used on the command line, the command is
automatically repeated every few seconds. This is a good way to see what happens
as you make system modifications.

The following example will repeatedly show the statistics for switched port #2:

CajunP120-priv# sh-swt-stat 2 r

To cancel the repetitive mode, enter

stopr

on the command line.
