Set Port Enable Command

Use the

set port enable

command to enable a port or a range of ports.

The syntax for this command is:

set port enable [slot_num/port_num]

Example:

To enable port 3 on module 1:

Console>(enable) set port enable 1/3

Console>(enable)

Set Port Disable Command

Use the

set port disable

command to disable a port or a range of ports.

The syntax for this command is:

set port disable [slot_num/port_num]

Example:

Console>(enable) set port disable 1/10

Console>(enable)

Set Port Speed Command

Use the

set port speed

command to configure the speed of a port or range of

ports. You can configure the speed of a Ethernet of Fast Ethernet interface only.
You can configure Ethernet or Fast Ethernet interfaces on the Cajun P120 module
to either 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps. In negotiation mode, the port's speed is determined
by negotiation. An error message is generated if you attempt to set the speed type
to 10 or 100 when negotiation is enabled.

The syntax for this command is:

set port speed [slot_num/port_num][10|100]

slot_num

Module number (always 1)

port_num

Number of the port.

slot_num

Module number (always 1)

port_num

Number of the port.

slot_num

Module number (always 1)

port_num

Number of the port on the module

10|100

Set a port speed to 10Mbps, 100 Mbps
