SETTING MENU1
– CHECKING POWER FAILURE TIME AND DATE.
• When 5 program is set in the PROGRAM SETUP 1, select
PROGRAM SETUP 2.
• Use the same method for setting PROGRAM REC as in the
PROGRAM SETUP 1.
* When finished with PROGRAM SETUP 1, 2 press MENU to
end and press TIMER to begin standby.
* The tape will be ejected and the beeper will sound if the tape
safety tab has been removed.

PROGRAM SETUP 2
• Displays the memorized time of a power failure and power restore.
* example) If there was a power failure on 17:30:30 12. 23. 2002,
and a power restore on 17:40:00 12. 23. 2002.
(17:30:30= 17 Hours 30 minutes 30 seconds)
* example) If there was a power failure on 13:25:00 12. 24. 2002
and a power restore on 13:26:00 12. 24. 2002,
repeatedly.

• How to set a PROGRAM REC
example) To set up a programmed recording
from 13:03 to 13:15 on Monday in
the L3H mode.
1. Press the SHIFT ❷ ❷ button to move the cursor
to the vacant program position.
2. Press the SHIFT ❿ ❿! button to display the
current time.
3. Press the TRACKING/SET "+" or "–" buttons to
set the hour of the starting time.
4. Press the SHIFT ❿ ❿! button to move to the
minute.
5. Press the TRACKING/SET "+" or "–" buttons to
set the minute of the starting time.
6. By the same methode, set up the ending time
and move to the date.
7. Press the TRACKING/SET "+" or "–" buttons to
set monday and press SHIFT ❿ ❿! button.
8. Press the TRACKING/SET "+" or "–" buttons to
set L3H and press SHIFT ❿ ❿! button.
9. By the same method, set up the NEXT
PROGRAM REC which you may want.
• DAILY : The programmed recording is made at
the same time every day.

– SETTING PROGRAM REC
1. You can use only the POWER or RESET
buttons during PROGRAM REC.
2. During a PROGRAM REC, to
cancel the recording press the POWER
button.
3. To cancel a PROGRAM REC, select the
event and press CLEAR button to
display "OFF".
Pressing the SHIFT

the OFF position to toggles the time set
before.

You can set up to 10 programs a week
