Notes

• The surround effect does not work when

MULTI CH IN is selected (page 92).

• When you select an input other than “i.LINK”

the receiver is set such that the power to the
i.LINK circuits is off as the initial setting.
(“i.POWER” is set to “AUTO” in the
CUSTOMIZE menu setting. Refer to page 68
for details.) When you select “i.LINK” as the
input, the power of the i.LINK circuits turns
on. “i.LINK Connecting” appears on the
display, but sound may not yet be output.
Make sure to operate the player only after the
“i.LINK Connecting” indicator turns off.

Turn on the component and
start playback.

Press MASTER VOL +/– to
adjust the volume.

You can also use MASTER VOLUME on
the receiver.

To mute the sound

Press MUTING on the remote. To cancel,
press MUTING on the remote again or turn
MASTER VOLUME clockwise to raise the
volume. Even if you turn off the receiver, the
muting function works when you turn the
receiver on again.

(INPUT MODE)

You can select the audio input mode by setting
the audio input mode when you connect
components to both digital and analog audio
input jacks on the receiver.

Press INPUT SELECTOR, then
select a component by moving
and pressing the easy scroll
key.

You can also use INPUT SELECTOR on
the receiver.

Press < repeatedly until the
RECEIVER MENU appears.

Select “INPUT MODE” by
moving and pressing easy
scroll key.

The selected audio input mode appears on
the display window on the receiver.
You can also use INPUT MODE on the
receiver.
