HDMI POWER

AUTO

Lets you turn off the power of unnecessary HDMI
circuits automatically. You can enjoy high quality
digital or analog audio without the influence of the
HDMI circuits. When set to “AUTO,” it takes some
time to output the sound.

EVER ON

Lets you keep the power of the HDMI circuits. Select
this setting if you do not like the time lag that occurs
with the “AUTO” setting. It may be disable depending
on the component.

VIDEO CONVERT* ** ON

Lets you convert video signals (page 34).

OFF

This function is not activated.

PROGRESSIVE
OUT* **

ON

Lets you output a video signal, which is converted
480p when the video signal is output as component
video signals.

Note

Only component video input signals of 480i are accepted.

OFF

This function is not activated.

VIDEO BRIGHTNESS
(Video brightness
level)**

You can adjust the brightness from 1 to 7. You cannot
adjust the VIDEO BRIGHTNESS when VIDEO
CONVERT is set to “OFF.”

VIDEO COLOR
(Video chroma level)**

You can adjust the chroma from 1 to 7. You cannot
adjust the VIDEO COLOR when VIDEO CONVERT
is set to “OFF.”

VIDEO HUE
(Video hue level)**

You can adjust the hue from 1 to 7. You cannot adjust
the VIDEO HUE when VIDEO CONVERT is set to
“OFF.”

(OSD color system)

Lets you select the color system to used.

NTSC

The OSD color system is NTSC.

PAL

The OSD color system is PAL.

OSD H.POSITION
(OSD horizontal
position)

Lets you adjust the position of the on-screen display
horizontally. You can adjust the position from 0 to 64.

OSD V.POSITION
(OSD vertical position)

Lets you adjust the position of the on-screen display
vertically. You can adjust the position from 0 to 32.

DIMMER
(Brightness of the
display)

Lets you adjust the brightness of the display in 3 steps.
When you choose setting such that you turn off the
display completely, the MULTI CHANNEL
DECODING indicator is also turned off.

USER PRESET MEM.?
(User preset memory)

Lets you store the adjusted sound field settings, etc. For details, see
Storing the adjusted settings (USER PRESET)” on page 65.
