Lock mode can be set to protect the settings in the system files and user files (USER2 –
USER5). Settings can no longer be changed when this mode is set.
To set and release the lock mode for the system files and user files use setup item No. 30
(MENU LOCK) and setup menu item No. A03 (MENU LOCK), respectively.

Press the MENU button.

While holding down the FILE button, press the

or

button, and select the file for

which the lock mode is to be set or released.

Press the

button and move the cursor (

) on the menu screen to setup item

No. 30 (MENU LOCK) or setup menu item No. A03 (MENU LOCK) for the system or
user file.

Press the

or

button, and select lock mode setting or release.

To set the lock:

Select the 0001 (ON) setting.

To release the lock: Select the 0000 (OFF) setting.

When the lock has been set, “LOCKED” flashes on the menu screen. In addition, the
counter display stops flashing and lights.

Press the SET button. The setting is now stored in the memory.

<Notes>
• The lock mode cannot be set for the USER1 file settings.
• Even if the RESET button is pressed, the files which has been set to the lock mode cannot

be reset to the factory settings.
