To shoot with the zoom, follow the steps
below.

Turn the Mode Dial to 5

Compose your picture while viewing

and zoom by pressing either the

A bar is displayed in the LCD Monitor indicating Zoom
status.

Press the shutter button.

Shooting with the Zoom

If you use the z

z (Telephoto): T/ Z

Z

Z

Z (Wide-angle): W buttons, you can alter the size of the subject in your

photo without having to change your distance from the subject. (Equivalent to a 35mm camera's 28-
85mm zoom for G4wide, or 35-105mm zoom for G4.)
