55 Programming a recording (TIMER)
7 If all information is correct, press the ENTER/OK button. The programming
information is stored in a TIMER block.

To end, press TIMER.
9 Insert a recordable disc (one without write protection).
The disc you have inserted will be checked.
0 Switch the DVD recorder off with B/I.
The programmed recording will only function properly if the DVD recorder has
been switched off using the B/I button.
If any of the TIMER blocks are in use, “TIMER” will light up on the recorder display.

Switch on the TV set. If required, select the programme number for the DVD
recorder.

Press TIMER on the remote control.
The programming method selected last is marked.

Select line “Timer programming” with w or v. and confirm with the u button.
The information will appear on the screen.
4 Select the input field with t or u.

Enter information with w or v or with the number buttons 0..9.
6 If all information is correct, press the ENTER/OK button. The programming
information is stored in a TIMER block.

To end, press TIMER.

Change “AM/PM”
Use the SELECT button to select “AM” or “PM” in the input fields “Start” and
“End”.
Changing the recording mode
Select “RecMode” using u.
Using w, select the recording mode “M1, M2, M2x, M3, M4, M6, FR”.

Selecting daily/weekly recordings
In “Date” use SELECT to select from the following options:
“Mo-Fr”: Repeated daily recordings from Monday to Friday
“Mo”: Repeated weekly recordings (every week on the same day, e.g. Monday).
Program numbers of the “EXT1” and “EXT2” cinch jack
You can also program recordings from external sources via S-VIDEO IN, Video in
(“EXT1”) or IN COMPONENT VIDEO (“EXT2”).
Change “AM/PM”
Use the SELECT button to select “AM” or “PM” in the input fields “Start” and
“End”.
Changing the recording quality
Select the “RecMode” input field using u.
Use w, v to select the recording mode.
