In the Manual mode, all settings for the multiple connection mode can be configured in one window. If
a Use field is unchecked or a slave address is entered as 000000000000, it is excluded from the Slave
settings.
The Auto Fill button will load the existing multiple connection mode settings from the Parani-SD/ESD
connected, which can be useful when only some parts of the settings are changed.
If the AT Command Response Disable check box is checked on, the AT command responses such as
OK, ERROR, CONNECT, DISCONNECT are suppressed.
3.12. ParaniUpdater
Parani-SD1100 supports firmware updates. You can download new firmware images for the Parani-
SD1100 at
With the ParaniUpdater, you can update the firmware of Parani-
SD1100 by selecting the firmware image file and pushing Start button. You can make SD1100 work by
turning off and on twice after finishing updating.

* Note: Firmware update can be possible after connecting CTS pin with RTS pin. Because there is no
CTS/RTS pins with SD1100, users need to shortcircuit the CTS/RTS at PC serial side before updating
firmware (Refer to Figure 3-14). Users can use the Firmware Update Kit - an accessory for SD1100 -
which is already wired for firmware update. (Refer to Figure 3-15)
