Installing the Express Configuration Software:
Windows
The Express Configuration software helps you configure your unit.
Follow the instructions in this Step/Action table to install this soft-
ware.
Installing the Express 3000: Windows NT
The Windows NT operating system does not automatically detect and
install the necessary driver for installing the Express 3000; therefore,
you must follow the procedure outlined here.
During software installation, if you encounter any error
screens or if the unit remains at
Link Down (i.e., blinking
green LEDs) for longer than 15 minutes, see Troubleshooting
on page 8-1.

Step Action
1 If you haven’t already done so, insert the Express 3000 CD
into the CD-ROM drive.
2 Click on Install.
3 Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Windows NT Express 3000 Installation Procedure
Step Action
1 Double-click in turn, each of the following icons:
My Computer > Control Panel > Modems
.
2 Click the Add button to display the Install New Modem window.
3 Click the Next button. (Windows NT detects the
Express 3000 .)
