Slide the paper guides apart.
• Press the lock release lever ( ) to slide the paper guides ( ) outward. On the
MF8280Cw, there is no lock release lever for the side paper guides.

Gently load the paper into the paper drawer with the print side face up,
until the edge of the paper stack meets the back of the paper drawer.
• Make sure that the paper stack does not exceed the load limit marks ( ).

Adjust the paper guides tightly to the width and length of the paper.
• Press the lock release lever and slide the paper guides inward until they are
aligned securely against the edges of the paper.
IMPORTANT IMPORTANT
If the paper guides are too loose or too tight, this may result in misfeeds
or paper jams.

Insert the paper drawer into the machine.

Specify the loaded paper size and type ( → p.27).
