A LUN ID of a connected external volume should be set in the range
of 0 – 1,023. An external volume that has a LUN ID equal to or
larger than 1,024 cannot be connected.

Installing XP External Storage
To perform XP External Storage operations with XP Command View Advanced Edition Software or
Remote Web Console, you must install an XP External Storage license key.
1.
Start XP Command View Advanced Edition Software or Remote Web Console for the local array.
2.
Enable the XP External Storage options in XP Command View Advanced Edition Software or
Remote Web Console and on each XP External Storage array.
