Uninstalling XP External Storage
To uninstall XP External Storage, cancel any existing Flex Copy pairs, and delete any external LU
mappings.
1.
Log in to XP Command View Advanced Edition Software or Remote Web Console. For instructions,
see the HP StorageWorks XP Command View Advanced Edition Software user guide for XP Disk
Arrays or the HP StorageWorks XP Remote Web Console user guide for XP12000/XP10000
Disk Arrays and SVS 200.

Click the XP External Storage button (
). XP External Storage starts.
3.
Cancel any existing Flex Copy pairs. For instructions, see the HP StorageWorks Flex Copy XP
user guide.
4.
Delete any external LU mapping. For instructions, see
Deleting external LU mappings (Delete LU)
5.
Use the XP Command View Advanced Edition Software or Remote Web Console Licensing module
to remove the XP Flex Copy license key. For instructions, see the HP StorageWorks XP Command
View Advanced Edition Software user guide for XP Disk Arrays or the HP StorageWorks XP
Remote Web Console user guide for XP12000/XP10000 Disk Arrays and SVS 200.

For the local array, use the XP Command View Advanced Edition Software or Remote Web
Console Licensing module to remove the XP External Storage license key. For instructions, see
