Array

Pool in normal status

Pool whose usage rate exceeds the threshold

Blocked pool

Pool/volume list (upper-right area of pane): If you select Subsystem in the tree, the pool/volume
list displays a list of pools in the array, including the following items:
Pool ID: Pool ID
Capacity(GB): Pool's storage capacity
Used Capacity(GB): Capacity of the pool the XP Snapshot pairs use
Usage rate: Pool's usage rate
Pool VOL(s): Total number of pool-VOLs in the pool
Snapshot pair(s): Total number of snapshot data stored in the pool
If you select a pool icon in the tree, the pool/volume list displays a list of XP Snapshot pairs in the
pool, including the following items:
P-Vol: P-VOL's port ID, group number of the host group or iSCSI target, and LUN
MU: Snapshot ID
Status: XP Snapshot pair status
S-Vol: S-VOL's port ID, group number of the host group or iSCSI target, and LUN
Pool used(GB): Pool capacity the S-VOL uses
Sync.: Consistency rate of the P-VOL and S-VOL data

Pool Association Inf.: X GB / Y GB
X: Capacity of pool association information in use
Y: Total capacity of pool association information, including capacity of pool association inform-

ation in use

Pool Mng. Block: X GB / Y GB
X: Capacity of pool management blocks in use
Y: Total capacity of the management blocks, including capacity of pool management blocks

in use

NOTE:

Pool association information and a pool management block are elements of the V-VOL
management area. You need the capacity of these two elements to calculate the number of
XP Snapshot pairs you can create. For more information, see

Calculating the number of Snapshot XP pairs you can create

” on page 20.

Shortcut menu (pool/volume list): When you select a pool icon in the tree, and then select and
right-click a XP Snapshot pair in the pool/volume list, a shortcut menu with the Pairsplit-S option
appears. If you select Pairsplit-S, the Pairsplit-S pane (

Figure 17

on page 66) appears.

Preset list: Content of operations set or specified in the XP Snapshot pane, but not yet applied to
the array. To apply operations displayed in the Preset list to the array, click Apply.
