Align the connector on the bottom of the computer with the port replicator
connector, and push the computer down until it clicks into place.
Removing the port replicator
To remove the port replicator

Close any active programs to prevent data loss.

Double-click the Safely Remove Hardware icon
on the taskbar. The
Safely Remove Hardware window appears.

Click to select the floppy disk drive in the Hardware devices window, if it is
not already selected.

Click Stop. The Stop a Hardware device window appears.

Make sure the appropriate device is selected, and click OK. A message
appears stating it is safe to remove the hardware device.

Pull the release levers on each side of the port replicator to release the it from
the computer.
